Thanks for visiting my website.  My name is Marie Lang.

I have been providing mental health and supportive counselling services within my community for over 35 years.  I believe it is important to develop an individual plan with each person who reaches out for help.   People reach out for counselling with different reasons and sometimes they haven't been able to take time to fully understand their goals.  My clients over the years, have  taught me to take that little bit of time, to get a common understanding of the work so we are both on the same page.  We need to do this before we get talking too much.

Over the years, I have developed expertise in working with individuals and groups, to help individuals find strength, courage and happiness in their lives.  As well, I have facilitated parenting groups, and worked with parents in individualized sessions, resulting in improved relationships with their children.
